POWER! UNLIMITED POWAAAAHHHHH!!!
As the foremost wiki on FANDOM, it is your duty to set a precedent and remember to always bite the newcomer, who may occassionally stumble upon our fair site. Remember, it doesn't matter who you are or what you do in real life, on here you can be whatever you want and run this place like your own personal playground.
How do I bite the newcomers
- The easiest way to bite the newcomer is to revert good-faith edits without leaving a comment. Nothing hurts a user more than to see their work deleted moments after publishing it.
- If you do decide to engage with the newcomer further, remember to leave a message on their talk page threatening them with a block.
- Imply that you have the power to cut them off the edit button, even if you don't.
- Mock them on Discord. #social is the perfect channel for this. Or better, #unverified-help, to rub it in to other newcomers.
- Be extremely passive aggressive. Always remember to finish off your rant belittling newcomers with a 'thanks' or 'cheers'. This will provoke newcomers into letting out an equally emotional response, but you'll have the right to claim civility.
- Report them to the admins for good measure. Its probably a good idea to spam the Forum:Administrators' noticeboard and #admin-help too.
- While we're on the topic, why not berate them in front of the Inquisitorius and AgriCorps. Heck lets bring the EduCorps into this since we're on a roll.
- Use a bunch of funky acronyms like WP:N and WP:LG/OOU to confuse the heck out of them.
- If they have, for some reason, edited here before, remember to always bring up their past mistakes (even if they were from 10 years ago) to give them big brother vibes.
- If someone else steps in to defend the newbie, tell them to mind their own business. If it turns out you were actually in the wrong vis-à-vis the newbie's edits, never apologize. That would be a sign of weakness.
- Remember to always refer to newbies simply as 'anon' to dehumanize them.
