Davil was a Xot who operated on a scrap pile on a remote planetoid. In 3 BBY, the alien was tasked with cataloging the droid Chopper after he arrived on the planetoid via a space battle close by. At first, he found the droid possessed nothing of interest until he discovered that Chopper carried countless data that would be profitable towards the Galactic Empire. Chopper eventually escaped from Davil's hands and managed to crush the Xot under a pile of scrap.

Davil later escaped from the scrap pile and together alongside Bidvel, his employer and another Xot, the two extracted the information from Chopper before trying to incinerate the astromech droid. During the process, deactivated droids from the scrap pile suddenly awoke after being activated by Chopper during his escape, which led the two Xot to panic. Bidvel alerted Davil to shoot every droid, to which the employee agreed. Davil, however, was eventually stunned by a B2-series super battle droid after fighting back, and Chopper was eventually rescued by the Spectres.

Biography

Davil was a Xot who worked on a scrap pile on a remote planetoid sometime during the Imperial Era.[1] In the year 3 BBY,[2] the C1-series astromech droid Chopper landed onto the scrap pile after he and his cell of rebel fighters, the Spectres, engaged in a battle with the Galactic Empire in space. Being found by the owner of the scrap pile, Bidvel, Chopper was taken into a room to be cataloged by Davil.

After the droid was strapped to a table, Davil began to list numerous components to the droid, only to realize how useless the astromech was and how he was shocked to know he was still operating.
