- "Looks like a few Tusken Raiders are camped out on the Canyon Dune Turn."
- ―Fodesinbeed Annodue mentions UrrOr'Ruur and his companions during podracer commentary
UrrOr'Ruur was a Tusken Raider warrior who was part of a group of at least four other Tuskens that, while at the Mos Espa Circuit on the planet Tatooine, hoped to take out podracers and their vehicles during the Boonta Eve Classic. During the Boonta Eve Classic of 32 BBY, UrrOr'Ruur and his group shot at the podracers going though Canyon Dune Turn.
Biography
UrrOr'RuuR was a Tusken Raider sniper[1] and warrior[2] who was part of a small group[1] of at least four other Tusken Raiders,[3] including the leader Orr'UrRuuR'R[4] and the sniper RuuR'Ur,[5] that lined themselves on the Mos Espa Circuit,[1] a podracing course outside the city Mos Espa[6] on the planet Tatooine.[7] While there, they hoped to take out podracers and their vehicles while they raced in the Boonta Eve Classic,[1] an annual event to commemorate the Boonta Eve holiday.[8] The trouble caused by the Tusken Raiders during the race had become a popular attraction and, as a result, anonymous complaints by pilots to race officials did not lead to anything.[9]
UrrOr'RuuR and his companions camped out on Canyon Dune Turn.
During the Boonta Eve Classic[3] of the year 32 BBY,[10] UrrOr'Ruur and[3] his[2] group were camped at[3] the cliffs above[9] Canyon Dune Turn in the circuit. During the first lap, race commentator[3] Fodesinbeed Annodue[11] mentioned the Tuskens. The group communicated with each other, before UrrOr'Ruur, laying prone on the turn, took[3] pot shots[9] at the passing podracers. They cheered after all the racers passed. During the second lap, he stayed in his position and continued to shoot at the racers. One of the Tusken Raiders landed a shot on the podracer of racer Teemto Pagalies, destroying it.[3]
Equipment
During the Boonta Eve Classic[3] of 32 BBY,[10] he wore tan robes. The Tusken Raider also wore gloves, sandproof face bindings with a filtering sandmask and protective eye coverings, and an ammo bandolier connected to a belt.[12] He wielded a gaderffii[2] and used a[3] cycler rifle[13] while he shot at the podracers.[3]
