Uroro Station was a wheel-shaped space station[4] floating in the gravitic equilibrium point between the gas giants Qogo and Uluq, in the Maad system.[1] It was used as a transfer station for Hapan ships traveling along the Throat to the mining world Shedu Maad. However, mining resources eventually vanished[4] and Shedu Maad was finally abandoned, as well as Uroro Station.[1]
During the Second Galactic Civil War, Luke Skywalker and the Jedi Coalition used the station as a decoy to lure Darth Caedus' fleet and the fleet of the Imperial Remnant into a trap being led by Tenel Ka Djo and the Hapan Home Fleet. Luke, along with most of the New Jedi Order were there along with a select group of younglings and academy staff to play the part of decoy. The ploy worked though Uroro station was destroyed by the long range Turbolasers of the Megador after the Jedi evacuated the station.[1]
