Unidentified orderly (Mercy)

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

An orderly was one of the many staffing the Rebel medical frigate Mercy.

History

This male individual had joined the Rebel and was stationed on the medical frigate Mercy by 5 ABY tending the wounded.^[1]

In that year the Mercy was receiving casualties from a recent attack on the planet Shackel by the Imperial Remnant. The casualties were around six thousand, overwhelming the five thousand-capacity ship^[2]; and the orderly, who tried to take the wounded to bacta tanks as quickly as possible.^[1]

While making his way among the corridors carrying one of those casualties, he was interrupted by an unknown woman and the orderly told her he was in haste; when she said that she was looking for a friend, he told her the situation and everyone has a friend among the casualties; she specified that she was looking not for a soldier, but a single individual who was part of the SpecOps, he suggested her to check Ward 114. Without one more word, he pushed his way through the crowd.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The orderly only appeared in the audio adaption of the novella Dark Forces: Rebel Agent. Bill Slichter is credited as "Orderly".
