Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A warlord was active in the Outer Rim Territories several generations before the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. The warlord's reign was eventually ended by a squadron of starfighter pilots from the Republic Navy, led by the renowned starfighter ace Jhaka Bakarn, though Bakarn died in the process. The victory earned the squadron much glory, and Bakarn's grieving father changed their family's name from Bakvalen to Bakarn to honor his fallen daughter.^[1]

The warlord was mentioned in the Codex entry for "The Bakvalen Family" in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game released by BioWare in 2011.^[1]
