During the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, a corporation produced moisture vaporators. A man who worked for the corporation's charitable arm sold vaporators at a steep discount in Anchorhead on the desert planet Tatooine. However, the crime lords who had previously controlled the water supply hired someone to kill the man.[1]
