The sentient[2] Neti species evolved from trees found[1] on the Inner Rim[3] planet of Myrkr. In 3999 BBY, Jedi trainee Nomi Sunrider learned from the Jedi Master Thon that the species of a Neti Master Ood Bnar—the gatekeeper of an ancient holocron which had been lent to Thon by Master Arca Jeth—had evolved from these trees.[1]
