The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A tentacled armed alien[2] was seen imprisoned within Jabba's Palace around the time of the Rescue of Han Solo. The alien reached its tentacled arm outside of its prison window and grabbed protocol droid C-3PO but was swatted away by a Gamorrean Guard.[1] The alien spoke Borish, the language spoken by the Mairan species.[3]

Behind the scenes

This creature first appeared in the 1983 film Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi.[1] Although the alien speaks Borish it was never confirmed as a Mairan.[3] The tentacle prop used to portray the creature was rediscovered in the Lucasfilm Archives in 2024.[4]
