A swamp creature lived on a swamp planet.[1] Between 32 ABY and 34 ABY,[2] the Resistance pilot Poe Dameron and his droid, BB-8, were on the planet and were attacked by the creature. The creature hit Dameron and knocked him out, and he lifted BB-8 into his hand. The droid, however, electrocuted the beast and the human male Kori Ong arrived using a slingshot to toss a rock against him. Ong jumped from a tree and kicked the creature, also hitting him with another rock.[1]

As the beast left, Ong told him not to come back. After the creature was gone, Ong informed Dameron and BB-8 they had seen the creature eat before and that they did not want to become his food. The creature had red eyes and blue skin covered in orange leaves.[1]

Behind the scenes

The creature appeared in the comic story "An Unlikely Friendship," published in the fifteenth issue of the 2017 comic book series Star Wars Adventures[1] on October 31, 2018.[3] The story was authored by James Gilarte and illustrated by Alain Mauricet.[1]
