Eons before the Galactic Civil War, a species constructed the ocean planet Chadawa,[1] in the Inner Rim's[2] Chadawa system. The species formed the world to machine-exact specifications that gave it unique features, including engines that powered its rotation, heating that warmed its oceans, and satellite rings which siphoned off the massive amounts of radioactive particles produced by the heating and periodically expelled them into space.[1]

Behind the scenes

The species was mentioned in the 2021 novel Victory's Price, the final installment of Alexander Freed's Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy.[1]
