- «If you want to wait until they get back to me, there are a couple of nice inns back in Pomprey near the skybus depot.»
- ―Borika, to Thalias
A skybus depot was located in the city Pomprey on the Chiss Ascendancy planet Ool in the vicinity of a number of inns.[1] In 18 BBY,[2] Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet Caregiver Mitth'ali'astov, core name "Thalias," came to Ool to ask questions regarding the Ascendancy's sky-walker navigators to Cohbo'rik'ardok, core name "Borika," who worked with and trained the navigators. While conversing, Borika suggested the caregiver stay at one of the inns near the skybus depot if she wanted to wait for a response to her queries, but Expansionary Defense Fleet officer Ufsa'mak'ro, core name "Samakro," ultimately summoned the caregiver back to the Ascendancy's capital planet Csilla.[1]
Behind the scenes
The skybus depot was mentioned in the the 2021 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil, the final installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
