A squad of Imperial Army coastal defender stormtroopers was active on the Galactic Empire's secret research planet Scarif as part of the Scarif Deployment. The squad participated in the Battle of Scarif against the Rebel Alliance, and was able to determine that the origin point of the rebel infiltration was on Pad 9. After the squad arrived on Pad 9, they encountered Bodhi Rook[1] and elements of the rebel Rogue One team, and subsequently participated in a firefight against them. Eventually, Imperial forces in the area eliminated the rebels on Pad 9.[2]
