In 19 BBY,[3] after the end of the Clone Wars, a squad of ten clone shock troopers was active within the Galactic Republic's Coruscant Guard. In the immediate aftermath of the war, the squad and several other clone troopers were returned to[2] the clone home planet[4] of Kamino, to await further instructions as the Republic transformed into the Galactic Empire.[2]
