- "Provide the coordinates to Lando Calrissian or face the consequences."
- ―The droid, to L3-37
A sentry droid worked in a small crew led by the bounty hunter Jeskian Veldar. He had plating colored entirely black, with a singular red sensor. When Veldar attempted to collect a debt from the gambler and smuggler Lando Calrissian, the sentry droid accompanied her to Neral's moon, locating Calrissian's starship, the Millennium Falcon, in a docking bay. Calrissian's droid accomplice, L3-37, lied about his location when questioned by Veldar, and warned Calrissian of the hunters. The sentry droid remained in the docking bay and confronted L3-37 with a blaster, threatening her to reveal Calrissian's location. However, the droid was shot and destroyed by Queen Forsythia Jin of Hynestia, who had followed Calrissian to the moon in search of her daughter Rinetta Gan, who had stowed away on the Falcon.[2]

Notes and references
- ↑ As Lando's Luck features L3-37, its events must be set before her destruction in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide dates the events of the film to nine years after the formation of the Galactic Empire, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 19 BBY. Therefore, the events of Solo are set in 10 BBY, and the events of Lando's Luck, including the sentry droid's destruction, must have taken place no later than that year.
