A large, glowing planet was located in a star system with one sun, and was orbited by a set of planetary rings. The rings, consisting mostly of ice drifts, constantly shed vapor and reflected light from the planet's star, which confused most starships' sensor sweeps and made them an ideal place for smugglers to hide.[1]

In 35 ABY,[2] during the war between the First Order and the Resistance, Commander Poe Dameron of the Resistance, having learned of the hiding spot sometime prior, guided his fellow Resistance members to the planet's rings in the starship Bestoon Legacy following a mission to the planet Pasaana. Shortly afterward, the Resistance members departed for the planet Kijimi,[1] but were followed by the starship of the dark side group known as the Knights of Ren, who were tracking the Resistance operatives for Supreme Leader Kylo Ren of the First Order.[3]

Behind the scenes

While the planet itself was not seen, its rings first appeared in the 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.[3] The planet was first mentioned in the 2020 novelization of the film, written by Rae Carson.[1]
