"Check his thermal."
"Aberrant heat signature. Port-side thruster."
―Captain Elk and the pit crew member — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)[1]

A light-skinned human with brown hair served as a member of the pit crew on the bridge of a Cantwell-class Arrestor Cruiser commanded by Captain Elk as part of the Galactic Empire's Segra-Milo Imperial patrol. While patrolling near[1] the planet[2] Segra Milo[1] in 5 BBY,[3] the cruiser encountered a Fondor Haulcraft, which Elk had the crew member hold in a tractor beam while its transponder ID was checked.[1]

While it was held, the haulcraft's owner, the rebel Luthen Rael, activated one of its port-side thrusters and claimed it was overheating. Elk had the pit crew member check the haulcraft's thermals, with the crew member responding that there was an aberrant heat signature on the port-side thruster. Based on this, Elk ordered that a boarding party be prepared, but ultimately Rael escaped from the Imperials. The pit crew member wore a black uniform with a cap that included an officer's disk.[1]
