- "It runs in my family. We all have them in our mouths. It helps keep you in tune with the seasons and keeps those grocery bills down."
- ―Comment by the individual in an article of The Galactic Gossip
An individual was a member of a family that resided on the astronomical object Argo-6, all of whom maintained miniature farms in their mouths. At some point, the individual visited a molecular dentist. While performing a routine molar cracking procedure, the dentist discovered the farm in her patient's mouth, which included fields of alfalfa on the tongue, chicken coops lining the throat, and an irrigation system between the incisors. To prevent a form of crop rotation, the dentist halted the procedure and prescribed mouthwash to defend against compost breath. The story, and comments from the individual, were recorded in the August 8, 6094 edition of The Galactic Gossip, a publication.[1]
Behind the scenes
The patient appeared in the non-canon reference book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, which was published in 1993 and was written by Bob Carrau.[1] Lucasfilm employee Leland Chee, who maintains the Holocron continuity database, has indicated that information contained in the book is non-canonical[2] with respect to the Star Wars Legends continuity.[3]
