A monastery on a nameless planet eventually named Freerock was later abandoned and became an outpost by the time of the Galactic Empire. The outpost was home to at least two establishments, the Rim's Edge cantina and Roderick's.[1]

The outpost appeared in Victory's Price, the final novel in Alexander Freed's Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy, which was published in 2021.[1]
