Unidentified orphanage (Meastrinnar)

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

An orphanage was located on the planet Meastrinnar, in the city of Vondrel. During the Galactic Civil War, as part of an Imperial pacification campaign in Vondrel, a stormtrooper detachment under the command of Vin Northal stormed the orphanage based on an incorrectly-decoded Imperial transmission informing of the discovery of a Rebel Alliance intelligence cell in Vondrel's sister city, Vondrol. Assaulting the building under the cover of darkness, the stormtroopers killed dozens of lifeforms inside, only for Northal to realize a few seconds later that the supposed Rebel targets had instead been sleeping children. The Empire subsequently covered up the true nature of the massacre, while the conflicted Northal himself soon defected to the Alliance.^[1]
