A male munka miner lived on the planet Tatooine with their parents. Sometime prior to the Battle of Endor, the individual was taken captive by Jabba Desilijic Tiure, a Hutt crime lord who wished to take control of the munka mines on top of which the miner's family lived. After meeting the Devaronian pirate Canno Wix in the Hutt's dungeon, the two managed to escape from Jabba's Palace. The miner, however, was betrayed by Wix and turned over to Lady Valarian, a rival crime lord who also wanted the family's mine. After surprising the criminals with a gravity snare, the miner was able to trap them and escape to his family.^[1]
