- "You're all free!"
"Wh–what?"
"Yep. The droid'll deactivate your implants. You take whatever you want, and good luck!" - ―Kitster Banai and one of the newly freed workers on the farm
A moisture farm on the desert[1] Outer Rim planet[2] Tatooine had a human owner that used enslaved workers to operate it. The farm consisted of a tan building with a fence nearby and at least four moisture vaporators.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[3] the owner was sitting at a table in front of the farm building with an astromech droid when the human Kitster Banai and the Rodian Wald approached seeking to free three of the workers on the farm: Amee, Melee, and Seek.[1]
The owner initially refused, claiming all would be needed for the current season, but the pair then poured enough money in front of the owner to free all the workers. Banai called out to those workers that he did not know that they were free to take what they wanted from the farm and leave once the astromech had deactivated their implants. Banai and Wald then joyfully reunited with their three friends and left the farm with them.[1]
