A statuette carved in the shape of a frolicking aquatic mammal was owned by the Koorivar merchant Sheb Valaad. The statuette was thousands of years old, but still in excellent condition. Carved of blue stone with the creature's eyes inset in gems, the statue's beauty tended to captivate people.[1]
