- "Faulty wiring. It's affecting the turbolift somehow too."
"Oh yeah? I can take a look, if you want. Used to help out with stuff like this at the cantina back home."
"I don't know you, so no." - ―Kay Vess to technician
A human technician with dark skin and brown eyes resided on the Outer Rim moon Toshara[1] in 3 ABY.[2] During which they were tasked with repairing the turbolift in the Makal's Gambling Parlor in the Tosharan city Mirogana. They While working on the repairs they identified a section of faulty wiring while wearing a grey shirt, grey pants, brown boots, a brown hat and black goggles.[1]
While working on the turbolift that year, they were approached by an offworlder named Kay Vess who tried to convince the technician to let her into the service area. The technician declined her attempts, leaving Vess to consider bribing them.[1]
Behind the scenes
The technician appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. They identified as simple "technician" in the game's subtitles and were part of the "Crashed" main quest during which the player has the option of bribing them 150 credits to unlock the turbolift access point leading to Gorak's suite. However the player can use their dataspike to unlock the access point making it possible to completely bypass the interaction with the technician.[1]
