A game café was located within the Chiss Ascendancy. The Chiss officer Mitth'raw'nuru "Thrawn" taught his friend Syndic Mitth'ras'safis "Thrass" the board game Tactica at the café. In turn, Thrass taught Thrawn the value of theatrics in any profession.[1]

The game café appeared in flashbacks in the 2021 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil, written by Timothy Zahn as the final novel of Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
