A sentient species that possessed a large cranium, with a head crest, four eyes, an inverted nose, pronounced upper lip, and bony neck.[1]
Behind the scenes
This was first created as a potential design for the Besalisk Dexter Jettster/Legends in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, created by John Knoll and team,[1] including Robert E. Barnes,[2] and presented to George Lucas alongside 23 other alien maquettes. While Lucas would end up choosing to combine two of the other maquettes to achieve his visions, this design, as well as five others, were photographed and collected to be recycled,[1] four of them reused as busts scattered across the Jedi Archives in the 2002 film,[3] though this and one other maquette were once again left on the cutting room floor.[2]
