Unidentified four-armed creature

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

This four-armed creature was encountered by C-3PO and R2-D2 when the droids were stranded on a planet due to their space vessel needing a new supply of space crystals. The creature was covered in red fur, and had a round pink nose, yellow eyes and pointed ears. The creature emerged from the trees in a forest as the droids were looking for a cave containing replacement crystals. At Artoo's suggestion, C-3PO pet the hand of the creature, who then pointed the droid in the direction of the cave.^[1]
