A flight^[1] of at least two BTL-B Y-wing starfighter/bombers of the Galactic Republic was active during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems.^[2] The flight^[1] served as part of Clone Flight Squad Seven under the command of Clone Commander Davijaan.^[2] The flight^[1] participated in the Battle of Umbara, and bombed a ridge full of Umbaran Militia forces after they forced a battalion of the 501st Legion to retreat after calling in the airstrike.^[2]
