Aurelant's brother owned an escape pod salvage company that operated on Sesid. The company was paid by the Galactic Empire to retrieve accidentally launched escape pods and refuel them. During Operation Yellow Moon, Aurelant arranged for hundreds of escape pods to be launched at once, one of which would contain Leia Organa and her team. This would allow Organa to escape and Aurelant's family to make a large profit.[1]
