An elite squadron was active within the Imperial Starfighter Corps of the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War,[1] which lasted from 1 BBY to 5 ABY.[2] The squadron was equipped with TIE Advanced x1 starfighters, and its commander was highly decorated. At one point, a pilot of the squadron attempted to defect from the Empire with their TIE Advanced, but the remaining TIE pilots and the commander were in pursuit with orders to destroy them.[1]
