A communications officer served the Pijali monarchy of the Inner Rim planet Pijal during the Republic Era. By this time, they were stationed in the Grand Hall of the world's royal palace.^[1] In 40 BBY,^[2] the communications officer contacted the Jedi Council at the request of Rael Averross, Pijal's Jedi lord regent, who intended to request help from the Jedi Order in dealing with several upheavals across the Pijal system prompted by the upcoming signing of the Governance Treaty initiative.^[1]
