A clone trooper commander was an Advanced Recon Commando fighting for the Galactic Republic. He was deployed to a planet held by the Confederacy of Independent Systems in order to oversee its pacification and obtain large sums of money from a Confederate bank. When the clone commander obtained the fund, he unwittingly brought aboard his ship the Human criminals Rayt, Wes Apice, and Bryn Apice disguised as clone troopers, who were attempting to rob the bank themselves before escaping the planet.[2]
