- "That ship's still coming. Alright, we gave this guy a chance. Light it up."
- ―The clone trooper ordering the other pilots to attack
Shortly after the Clone Wars, a clone trooper flew an Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 starfighter on patrol around the Imperial space station Brighthome. When Darth Vader approached the station, the trooper warned that his ship was in restricted space and said that if he did not turn around, he and the three other starfighters would attack. When Lord Vader continued forward, this clone and the other pilots attacked, but were quickly eliminated by the Sith Lord, who chose to kill his own men for sport instead of communicating the docking codes.[3]
Behind the scenes
The clone pilot appeared in Darth Vader (2017) 2, a 2017 canon comic written by Charles Soule.[3]
