A female individual served as chieftess of the world Inusagi during the reign of the Galactic Empire.[1] By 4 ABY,[2] Princess Leia Organa visited the world and established a connection with the chieftess.[1]

That year,[2] Organa sent a holomessage to persuade the chieftess to side with the forming New Republic in the aftermath the Battle of Endor, and used her established connection with the chieftess to speak at a personal level with them. As she knew the needs and desires of the chieftess, the princess offered specific aid or personal favors in her message.[1] Later that year,[2] while on her honeymoon aboard the Star Cruiser Halcyon with her husband Han Solo, Organa informed him that she needed to send a message to the chieftess.[1]

The chieftess was mentioned in The Princess and the Scoundrel, a 2022 novel written by Beth Revis.[1]
