A variety of tree with blue leaves and twisty trunks grew in the hot, swampy marshlands of the Core Worlds planet Chandrila. The trees exuded mist and formed most of the landmarks in the area that were visible to Princess Leia Organa during a pathfinding trip to the area[1] in 3 BBY.[2]

Behind the scenes

The tree was mentioned in the 2017 young-adult novel Leia, Princess of Alderaan, written by Claudia Gray.[1]
