A man worked as a blaster salesman at the outpost Port Haileap on[1] the Outer Rim planet[2] Haileap during the High Republic Era. They were known to the Mirialan Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh and, according to her, had been cited for defrauding individuals several times.[1] In 231 BBY,[3] Rwoh was reminded of the salesman when she traveled to the Graf family space station Everbloom with the Graf family member Xylan Graf, who she considered there to be something too friendly and smooth about. The Mirialan's suspicions were proven as Graf led the Jedi and several of her companions into an ambush.[1]

The blaster salesman was mentioned in the 2021 young-adult novel The High Republic: Out of the Shadows, written by Justina Ireland and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[4]
