An individual was the high commander of the Zualjinn Syndicate criminal organization. Tomasso, a member of the rival Spice Runners of Kijimi, was sent under the guise of a diplomatic mission to the planet Quintil, where he instead killed the high commander.[2]

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary establishes that Dameron joined the Spice Runners sixteen years before the Starkiller Incident, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 34 ABY. Dameron must have therefore joined the Spice Runners in 18 ABY, and the incident on Quintil, and the high commander's death several months prior, must have occurred around that year.
