"What about you? I'll give it to you for a good price. You can resell it for a lot more! I just need some credits to buy water."
―Farmer to Kay Vess[1]

A Zabrak farmer resided on the Outer Rim planet Tatooine during the Imperial Era.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] they tried to barter for water at the Wayfar Cantina, however due to the Galactic Empire's insistence on collecting taxes in credits, the bartender was forced to turn them away.

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars Outlaws. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon.

Kay Vess, a scoundrel visiting the desert planet, eventually bought an osmium ring from the farmer for ten credits so they could buy some water.

Behind the scenes

The farmer appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The player can choose to buy the ring for ten credits or simply leave and end the conversation. If they do buy it, then they will be able to sell the ring for 240 credits to a merchant elsewhere.[1]
