A Whiphid individual was a councilor within a governmental body of the New Republic that included chief of state Leia Organa Solo[1] in 13 ABY.[2] The Whiphip insisted on the arrest of Organa Solo's security chief Mirith Sinn after a chain of events in which she was implicated. However, Organa Solo objected and ordered not to do so letting Sinn free.[1]
