"The people of this planet are known to be quite shy. Why don't I go try to talk to them first? It's best if you wait here."
―Tajin Crosser, to Dan G'vash, shortly before speaking with the Village Chief[2]

A human served as the Village Chief of Habo village on the planet Habo. Between 832 BBY and 32 BBY, the Village Chief and another villager spoke with Jedi Master Tajin Crosser about an old man known as the Elder who had recently arrived on Habo and gone into the planet's mountains. The Village Chief's son helped guide Crosser's Padawan, Dan G'vash, when he searched for the man in the mountains, while the Village Chief showed Crosser to the site of the Elder's starship.

A human served as the Village Chief of Habo village[1] on the Outer Rim planet Habo[2] at some point between 832 BBY and 32 BBY.[3] During their time as chief, an old man known as the Elder visited Habo and went into the planet's mountains by himself. A few days later, Jedi Master Tajin Crosser and his Padawan, Dan G'vash, arrived on Habo after feeling a disturbance in the Force. When the Jedi arrived outside the village, the chief and another villager waited by a bridge to speak with them. As the people of Habo were known to be shy, Crosser—who had previously visited the world—approached them alone. Each of the three bowed and placed their fingertips together in front of their chests, and the villagers told Crosser of the old man's arrival, describing him as belonging to an unknown tribe. Crosser then returned to speak with G'vash and told him what he had learned.[2]

The Jedi eventually decided that Crosser would wait by the Elder's starship, while G'vash would head to the mountains to investigate.[2] The Village Chief's son,[1] as well as two other children, served as guides to G'vash while he searched the mountains. At the same time, the Village Chief and the other villager showed Crosser to where the old man's starship was. Crosser ultimately killed the Elder after he attacked G'vash and revealed himself to be a dark side adept.[2]

Equipment

The Village Chief wore green clothing dyed with plants.[1]
