One of the planets of the Vesla system was the home of a species of nocturnal predators. During the Cold War, they suffered from the presence of Darth Mekhis' Sun Razer in orbit of the star, as it affected the climate of their planet, making it colder.
During their mission to spy on the Sith Empire, SIS agent Theron Shan and Jedi Master Ngani Zho killed two specimens as they were trying to attack them during the night.
