A being that lived at the time of the Galactic Civil War was the last known survivor of the crashed Star Tours starliner Tzarina.[1]

"I was one of many who were lucky enough to be some of the first passengers on Star Tours newest luxury yacht. Everything was fine until the droid captain changed course towards Yavin to show us something "neat". The ship was hit by a strange T.I.E. Fighter that was tumbling out of control. Our hyperdrive initiated and drove us straight into this planet. You must let others know..."

Around the time of the Battle of Yavin, this being was among the first passengers on Star Tours' newest luxury cruise liner, the Tzarina. But when the droid captain changed course towards Yavin Prime, the ship was hit by an unidentified TIE Fighter that was tumbling out of control. The cruise liner's hyperdrive initiated and threw the ship into hyperspace. When it fell out of hyperspace half a galaxy away, the ship crashed onto the planet Dathomir in the Quelii sector.[1]

An unknown number of beings survived the crash, however only this being managed to survive long enough in the dangerous Dathomirian wilderness to reach the Trade Outpost,[1] months later.[2] There the survivor met a spacer who promised to tell others of the passenger's fate in exchanged for the coordinates of the crashed cruiser.[1]

The Tzarina survivor was a non-player character (NPC) in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] The Tzarina survivor was added to the game with the "Publish 1" update, released on August 3, 2003.[4]

The NPC was named "a commoner", a typical designation for the many randomly generated generic NPCs that populated the cities in the game. It pointed players to the location of the crashed starship. By agreeing to tell others of the ship's fate, a waypoint to the crash site is added to the player's datapad. The appearance, gender and species of this NPC changed with every server restart.[1]
