- "You… had discovered your lover… that pilot, Ash… with a Twi'lek dancing girl… and you snapped…"
- ―A male Jedi while confronting Vydel Dir'Nul
This Twi'lek female made a living as a dancer during the final years of the Galactic Republic. She became romantically involved with a freighter pilot named Ash B'risko, who was in turn involved with the Jedi Knight Vydel Dir'Nul. When Dir'Nul spotted the woman in B'risko's arms, the Jedi murdered B'risko and then killed the Twi'lek.
Behind the scenes
The Twi'lek female first appeared in the short comic "Dark Journey," which was featured in Star Wars Tales 17 and written by Jason Hall. The story was later compiled into a trade paperback version and republished in Star Wars Tales Volume 5.
Plausible stories in Star Wars Tales 1–20 were deemed S-canon until referenced in a non-Tales source, at which point the subject matter was elevated to C-canon status.[2] The character was mentioned in Vydel Dir'Nul's entry in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia.[3] This elevated the character's appearance in Dark Journey to C-canon.
