A Togruta worked as a shopkeeper on the planet Ringo Vinda. Prior to the First Battle of Geonosis, Jedi Master Sember Vey and her Padawan Iskat Akaris visited this individual's shop. After both Jedi had examined an old book, both physically and with the Force, Vey identified it as a Sith text. When the Togruta assumed that they were thus not interested in the artifact, Vey stated otherwise, saying that they would buy it and that the Jedi Order would keep it safe.[1]

Once the purchase was completed and the Jedi were about to leave, the shopkeeper asked Vey what species Akaris was, noting that he had never seen someone like her. Both responded that she was a Jedi and left it at that, with the Togruta placatingly insisting that he was merely curious.[1]
