- "Surrender to your judgement, child. Renounce your heresy and I shall grant you a swift end. Resist and I shall make you suffer. Either way, I will have your head. And I will have your Spark."
- ―The Togruta, to Miril
A Togruta served as a member of the Darkseekers, a group of the Sith who hunted for threats to the Sith.
Biography
A long, long time before[1] 4 ABY,[2] the Togruta led a group of Darkseekers in search of Miril, a Chadra-Fan who served as the leader of the Ascendant,[1] a cult who attempted to replicate the effects of the Force with technology,[3] and the Spark Eternal, a piece of technology Miril had created. Eventually, the Darkseekers encountered Miril in the Floating Catacombs, though Miril escaped.[1]
Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[2] Miril and the archaeologist Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra relived Miril's memory of the encounter with the Darkseekers after Aphra was possessed by the Spark Eternal. During the encounter, the Togruta called Miril a heretic and sentenced her to death, before attempting to strike the Chadra-Fan down, but was unsuccessful. Miril then used her calling gloves to pull away the lightsabers of the Togruta's fellow Darkseekers and threw them at the Togruta. The Darkseeker used the Force to stop the sabers and threw them at Aphra and Miril. One of the other Darkseekers informed the Togruta he had just thrown away their saber, to which the Togruta responded that he did not care and told them to use their bare hands to kill Miril if they had to.[1]
The Togruta stopping incoming lightsabers
As Aphra and Miril fought back against the Darkseekers, they surrounded the two and the Togruta told Miril to surrender to her judgement. He then offered her the chance to renounce her ways which would grant her a swift end, though if she resisted he intended to make her suffer, before finishing that either way he would have her head, as well as the Spark Eternal. At this moment, Aphra pulled a blaster pistol out and pointed it at Miril, telling her to hand over the Spark to the Togruta, as she was not prepared to die in a memory that was not hers. The Togruta was pleased, calling Aphra a "clever girl", and that as a favor he would personally see to her death. Unbeknownst to the Togruta, however, Aphra had only been attempting to encourage Miril to sync with the Spark Eternal, so the two could escape the memory. As Miril declared that she would pass her own judgement on the Darkseekers, Aphra shot the Togruta with her blaster.[1]
Powers and abilities
As a Sith Darkseeker, the Togruta possessed sensitivity to the Force. He was proficient in the use of telekinesis, halting five ignited lightsabers hurled toward him, and projecting them back toward Miril and Aphra.[1]
