"If I'm getting out of here, so are they."
―Rahara Wick to Pax Maripher, about the Sullustan and their colleagues[1]

A Sullustan worker was enslaved by the Czerka Corporation during the Republic Era. She was assigned to the Leverage, a Branch-class cruiser stationed above the Inner Rim planet Pijal, and was managed by a floor supervisor. While on the Leverage, the Sullustan toiled on a compressor-assisted assembly line.[1]

In 40 BBY,[2] the Sullustan worked alongside the human Rahara Wick, a jewel thief that Czerka had recaptured and forced into service. When Wick's colleague, Pax Maripher, came to rescue her, the Sullustan pulled a gear to stall the compressor line and allow the two an opportunity to talk. Unwilling to leave her working companions behind, Wick insisted on starting a revolt aboard the Leverage to free all the vessel's trapped individuals. After the revolt's successful conclusion, the Sullustan and her enslaved colleagues were freed from the company's employ and offered assistance to begin their new lives by the Galactic Republic.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Sullustan appeared in Master & Apprentice, a 2019 novel written by Claudia Gray.[1]
