During the Battle of the Gauntlet, Imperial forces break into the base of the Ardan resistanceby blowing up a wall. Stormtroopers shoot fleeing Rebels, including a Sergeant tasked with destroying the base by overloading generators. He dies soon after being shot, but manages to tell someone about his mission.[1]
