An R6 astromech served as a pilot for a speeder on the planet Nevarro during the New Republic Era.[2] In 9 ABY,[1] after the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin rescued the Force-sensitive youngling Grogu from The Client, he alerted the Bounty Hunters' Guild to his location. When the leader of the guild, Greef Karga confronted him, Karga suggested Grogu be placed on the speeder the droid piloted. As he made his way to the speeder, Djarin decided to use it to escape, threatening to shoot the droid if[2] it[3] refused. As the droid drove away, Karga precisely shot the droid with his blaster, destroying the pilot and stopping the getaway repulsorcraft.[2]
