Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

This black and yellow R2 unit was the astromech droid for the Aleph-class starfighter that Syal Antilles and Zueb Zan flew in 40 ABY as part of Gray Squadron.[1]

Biography

The R2 unit was present for the Battle of Tralus in 40 ABY. It alerted Syal Antilles to various threats, including a missile lock on her fighter.[1]

Behind the scenes

This droid made its first appearance in Legacy of the Force: Betrayal, the first novel in the Star Wars: Legacy of the Force series of novels, written by Aaron Allston. It appears on pages 319 and 402 of the novel.[1] It is never given a designation.
