"Hey, fellas! Here for a drink? The Meiloorun Sunsets are amazing—"
"
You blew up our ship!"
"Me? No—"
"You just admitted to it. We all heard you."
―Chelli Lona Aphra and a Predak Vane member[2]

A ship was owned by the criminal group Predak Vane during the Imperial Era. Around 3 ABY, the ship was blown up by the rogue archaeologist Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra, and the group tracked Aphra to the city Canto Bight on the Outer Rim planet Cantonica where they heard the archaeologist speak about the ship.

The Predak Vane members then confronted her, and Aphra tried to claim that she did not destroy their ship, to which the Predak Vane told her they had heard her confirm it. The archaeologist told the group that she would talk about it but only once they caught her; she made an attempt to escape and her companions attacked the Predak Vane.

History

"Hey, Sana, Magna. You run into any trouble?"
"Nothing we couldn't handle, Lucky. Aphra did blow up a Predak Vane ship…and several of their speeders."
―Just Lucky and Sana Starros[2]

The Predak Vane confronted Chelli Lona Aphra (center) in Canto Bight after she destroyed the ship

The criminal group Predak Vane owned a ship during the Imperial Era.[2] Around 3 ABY,[1] the rogue archaeologist Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra, accompanied by her lovers Sana Starros and Magna Tolvan, encountered the Predak Vane and Aphra blew up the ship, as well as several of their speeders. Afterward, the three traveled to Club Lazuli in Canto Bight[2]—the capital city of the Outer Rim planet Cantonica[3]—to meet up with[2] the partners[4] Just Lucky and[2] Ariole Yu.[3] When the three arrived, Lucky asked Starros and Tolvan if they had encountered trouble as they were late, and Starros told them about the archaeologist blowing up the Predak Vane's ship and speeders. In response, Yu questioned Aphra if there was anyone at the club whose ship she had not blown up, and she noted there was not, including her own.[2]

The archaeologist then noticed a group of Predak Vane members at the door and asked them if they had visited for a drink. One of them reminded Aphra she had destroyed their ship, which she responded to by trying to say she had not, but the Predak Vane member told her she had just admitted it which they had all heard. Lucky then noted that everyone had grievances, to which the archaeologist stated some often had merit and then informed the Predak Vane members she would happily talk through their grievance with her regarding their ship—but if they wanted to do so, then they would need to catch her first. As she spoke, she began to make an escape from the club while her companions attacked the Predak Vane members.[2]
